Children and Technology
Technology and children today are a match for the future in my opinion, in reason why I say this is because, our children are the future and technology is in our future. we as people have grown and depend on the technology, where we have the easy access on finding things, searching for people, keeping in contact with long distance family and relatives. Children today are more advance and know alot more about the new gadgets that come out, they are the teachers of now...when it comes to the educating of the new technology that is out, they make the time to educate themselves with whatever is the new thing that is out, where as we the adults either don't think its a use to us or just don't have the time. However it can be the greatest or the worst thing thats been invented, the reason I say this is because, it makes life alot easier, and it made it too easy, that children and adults are lacking of activities, having a more creative minds, for example if the power went out, there is nothing to do. but this is my opinion on technology.

You have identified children as teachers and learners. Who is teaching them, if not the adults? Of course, they are teaching themselves and each other. This collaboration is the new learning model for the new learners.
But just what are the challenges and opportunities offered by technology as we work, play and learn as global citizens in the 21st century.

My experience of the challenges and the opportunities that are offered to me in Technology. The opportunities I have with technology are the tools of not doing everything manually within the work field, have the advantages of getting work done and accurate, also having the email, where everything is sent and responded within a day. not having to wait for days. The challenges that I have experience with technology are the new things that are offered, with the powerpoint, excel, word, and also windows, once I get adjusted with one Window...something new is comming with newer versions...so sometime is like starting from scratch with some knowledge with the previous one. The advantages we have with technology is that everything can be done with the web, checking of statements, information, ebills, etc...I depend on my computer for all my financial information, also in contacts of long distant relatives and friends.
